ACN Foundation – we’re here for nurses

The ACN Foundation provides access, through funding, in support of initiatives that enhance, develop and recognize contributions made by Australian nurses that will improve the health of the Australian community and secure nurse history.

We collaborate with the community at large to raise funds in support of nurse-led initiative that focus on research, policy development and advocacy, education and scholarship, nurse leadership and the curation of Australian nurse history.

In addition to developing new opportunities in line with its mission, the ACN Foundation administers existing scholarships and grants of the Australian College of Nursing.

Nursing study tours

Due to the 2020 COVID pandemic and subsequent shutdown for international travel opportunities, the ACN Foundation’s Nursing Study Tours have been put on hold until further notice.

However, with the opening on Australian state borders, the ACN Foundation is embarking on developing a series of Australian-focused tours for its members to broaden their perspectives through domestic travel. For the initial program in the series, we have partnered with renowned travel operator Jon Baines Tours to ensure a professionally delivered and exciting adventure occurs.
