The Australian College of Nursing (ACN) Foundation is thrilled to announce the 22 Bullwinkel Scholars for 2025. This year’s cohort includes 21 outstanding Leadership Scholarship recipients and 1 Study Travel Scholarship recipient. These exceptional individuals have demonstrated remarkable leadership, dedication, and potential in their fields of study and will now have the opportunity to further their professional journeys with the support of the ACN Foundation, its donors and partners.
Honouring the legacy of sacrifice
As we celebrate these scholars, we also pause to remember the brave nurses who were massacred at Radji Beach on 16 February 1942. Their courage, resilience, and unwavering commitment to their fellow soldiers and patients stand as a testament to the sacrifices made during the darkest days of World War II. The ACN Foundation honours their legacy and remembers their sacrifice. Their selflessness continues to inspire future generations of nurses and leaders.
