The Australian College of Nursing Foundation (ACNF) is delighted to offer a scholarship for the Nurse Unit Manager Leadership Program (NUMLP). The program will be held on 16 - 20 September 2024 in Melbourne. This scholarship is valued at $5,500. Please note that this scholarship will not cover travel and or accommodation.

Eligibility criteria


Preference will be given to ACN members, but non-members are welcome to apply. To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

  • Be an active member of the Australian College of Nursing (MACN or FACN)
  • Be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
  • Have a minimum of three years postgraduate experience.
  • Hold a Nurse Unit Manager role or aspire to become a Nurse Unit Manager.
  • Be able to identify an area for development that will be addressed by this scholarship and how you will apply the learnings in your practice.
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities in nursing and/or the health or aged care systems.
  • Be available to attend the five-day face-to-face masterclass on 16-20 September 2024 in Melbourne.
