The Bullwinkel Project Winter Appeal 2023

Make a tax deductible donation in 2023 to The Bullwinkel Project

Please consider making a tax-deductible donation this year, towards The Bullwinkel Project Scholarships to honour the 21 Australian nurses massacred on Bangka Island in the second World War.

The scholarships will acknowledge the 21 nurses massacred on Bankga Island who were with Lieutenant Colonel Vivian Bullwinkel AO, MBE, ARRC, ED, FNM, FRCNA, the sole survivor. The scholarship recipients will be collectively known as the 'Bullwinkel Scholars' as this funding will be in perpetuity to keep their legacy alive in the years to come.

The scholarships will equip nurses with the leadership skills required to ensure the nursing voice is represented at the at every table where healthcare decisions are being made.

The scholarships will be managed by the ACN Foundation and will open in September 2023.

Your on-going support of this project will help to recognise the bravery and leadership of Australian nurses who made a sacrifice for their country, and to support the development of future nursing leaders.

You can donate either as an individual or as an organisation. Upon making a donation, we will ensure you are emailed a gift receipt.

For more information or queries, please contact the Australian College of Nursing Foundation on 1800 061 660 or email info@acnfoundation.org.au.
